A: The website migration service that we are offering is free of charge (within a certain limit). We’ll transfer your web site(s) to our state–of–the–art cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from experience that changing hosting providers can lead to lost info and unwanted network downtime. That’s the reason why we’ll perform all that for you for free!We have highly professional administrators whose primary responsibility is to make sure that your web site performs precisely as it did on your old hosting platform. The administrators are experts in migrating custom–made web sites, as well as web sites that are based on well–known applications like Joomla^™ and WordPress.

A: There are a lot of aspects to take into account – the total amount of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the current workload of our website migration professionals, etc. Yet, we do try to perform all web site migrations within a 48–hour time period. Smaller–sized sites are migrated faster – typically in less than 24 hours.

A: We’ll require the login details for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel along with the website’s name (domain name).

A: Before we can start the migration of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose exactly the same information you have given to your previous host. We also have an extremely rigorous Privacy Policy, which describes how sensitive info is handled.

A: While we move your web site, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your former web hosting provider. After the transfer is over, we will ensure that everything is functioning correctly and that the integrity of your data is not affected prior to notifying you that the transfer is complete. Then we’ll instruct you how to transfer the domain over to your hosting account with us and how to change the DNS resource records.

A: No. Apart from your login details for the Control Panel, we don’t require anything. We’ll never get in touch with your hosting provider. They will not know anything about the migration either.

A: We can transfer your website from any hosting provider or any Linux–based web hosting platform as long as we can receive access to the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only sites that we cannot transfer are the ones based on closed–source software applications such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
